Individual or small group courses

Individual course

Course structure:
The Individual course is for those who would prefer to have one-on-one lessons for professional, study, particular interest or time restraint reasons.
The start date and times of the lessons can be decided with the school.
We would recommend a minimum of one lesson per day up to a maximum of six lessons per day.
One individual lesson lasts 55 minutes.

About the course:
The individual Italian language course is modelled on the precise request of the student whilst keeping an optimum working environment in order to develop key language skills.
Grammar structures, necessary instruments for communication are studied as well as vocabulary and oral communication, written comprehension, dialogues, pronunciation and writing. Naturally, the most interesting aspects for the student will be the focus of the lessons.

For the grammar classes, we use exercise books which are written, edited and published by the ABC school. With more than 40 years of experience teaching students from all over the world, the books are updated frequently. Written texts and practical exercises are done both in class and at home, as homework. The teaching materials used in conversation classes are various and come in many forms. These include authentic readings (newspaper articles, blog articles, pieces of literature etc.), technical vocabulary or language, audiovisual materials, educational games and anything else which can serve as a stimulus to speak Italian or to address specific requests.

Lesson times:
Lessons take place in the morning or in the early hours of the afternoon. Please, contact us for availability This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Duetto course (for two people)

Course structure:
The Duetto course is specifically designed for two people (friends, family, work colleagues) who are travelling together and have the same level of Italian.
Having lessons in very small groups gives you the advantage of being able to study more intensively and in a more personalised way, whether it be choosing specific themes that you would like to work on or being able to have a personalised timetable.
It is possible to decide how many hours you would like to have per week. Lessons normally take place in the morning but it is also possible to choose an afternoon time.

About the course:
During the lessons the teacher provides the linguistic skills necessary for communication, taking the particular interests of the students into account.
You study grammar to understand the structure of the language. Through readings, exercises and activities, you will be taught rules which will then promote correct communication in Italian during the conversation lessons.
We also focus on oral and written comprehension, vocabulary and communication in order that the students can improve their skills which are being closely monitored by the teacher who is with them every step of the way.

Lesson times:
Lesson times for the Duetto course are agreed with students even if they normally take place in the morning.
It is possible to decide how many lessons per week or per day you would like to have.
